Geological engineers bridge the gap between natural systems and engineering solutions. They utilize engineering concepts to work with earth materials like rocks, soils, groundwater, and energy resources.
At USask, we've transformed first-year engineering into RE-ENGINEERED - a unique Canadian program designed for student success and engagement. This innovative approach makes learning engineering more enjoyable and motivating.
RE-ENGINEERED replaces stressful exams with continuous assessments, allowing for grade improvement. Scheduled daily tutorials provide timely support, while practical courses replace traditional finals with hands-on exploration of engineering fields.
Students select their engineering specialization (major/discipline) after first year, determining their focus for advanced studies in subsequent years.
