Electrical engineers create and oversee power grids, communication systems, and electronic devices. They develop the electrical and digital technologies that are revolutionizing modern living.
USask has transformed its first-year engineering program to enhance student success and enjoyment. Our innovative RE-ENGINEERED approach is unique in Canada, designed to spark passion and curiosity about engineering.
The RE-ENGINEERED program replaces stressful exams with frequent assignments and quizzes, allowing for grade improvement throughout the term. Scheduled daily tutorials provide ongoing support, while practical courses replace traditional finals with hands-on exploration of various engineering fields.
Students select their engineering specialization (major/discipline) after completing first year, which becomes their focus for advanced studies in subsequent years.
