Economics examines how wealth is created and allocated. The Business Economics program equips you with a foundation in both economic theory and commercial practices, focusing particularly on economics to ready you for careers in business, finance, and government.
This curriculum delivers the expertise and analytical frameworks needed to understand, evaluate, and address critical economic challenges faced by individuals, companies, and communities.
A distinctive feature of our uSask program is its Career Internship initiative. This practical component offers students real-world experience, including engagement with research topics and the chance to implement acquired knowledge through tailored projects created by partner organizations.

Required high school classes
Foundations of Mathematics 30 or Pre-Calculus 30
Students entering the Bachelor of Arts program, or who are undecided about which program they are interested in, are encouraged to take Foundations of Mathematics 30. Students interested in the Bachelor of Science program are encouraged to take Pre-Calculus 30.
