Individual, Society and Health ("IS&H"): This concentration explores health from both personal and societal perspectives, highlighting the elements and mechanisms that impact a person's wellbeing. Students in this track will gain insight into how human health results from the interplay between biological systems and societal influences.

The curriculum investigates health and wellness topics, including mental health, through multiple lenses - analyzing how biological, cultural, social, and environmental factors shape an individual's health status.
You'll explore diverse health determinants including biological, psychological, cultural, and environmental aspects, while examining how genetic makeup, personal traits, beliefs, and competencies affect healthy psychosocial growth across one's lifetime. The program also investigates cultural and community-based health practices, along with how populations engage with their surroundings in beneficial or detrimental ways.
