The Master of Arts (MA) in Film Studies is a 30-credit program offering in-depth exploration of cinema and media through historical, theoretical, and methodological lenses, with focus on modern ideas, challenges, and developments. Students may investigate diverse topics like national and global film traditions, influential filmmakers, various genres, or modern analytical perspectives (including feminist, post-colonial, Indigenous, and queer studies) across multiple media formats such as narrative films, documentaries, animations, avant-garde cinema, television, digital media, and interactive platforms.
