The Indigenous Communication Arts (INCA) program offers educational preparation and hands-on training to help Indigenous individuals pursue careers across the communications field, encompassing both Indigenous and mainstream media as well as public relations. Graduates of INCA qualify to apply for admission to the University of Regina's School of Journalism. The program equips students through coursework covering Indigenous history and politics, oral storytelling traditions, community-focused research, business administration, both traditional and modern communication methods, language studies, and artistic expression. INCA participants develop fundamental competencies for print, broadcast, and digital journalism, along with the opportunity to learn strategic communication techniques for public relations work.
Students must have completed High School (Secondary School) or partial post-secondary.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): Internet Based: Overall 83; Reading: 20; Listening: 20; Speaking: 20; Writing: 20
IELTS – Academic: Overall Band score of 6.5, with no band less than 6.0
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Overall score of 59, No area with less than 59
MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery): 85
