The Indigenous Social Work (Qualifying) program equips you to begin a career in human services as a social worker, with a particular focus on serving First Nations individuals, families, groups, and communities.
Our globally acclaimed programs provide comprehensive education. In both undergraduate and graduate studies, we train students to recognize the challenges faced by underserved, vulnerable populations and help people, families, and communities achieve their capabilities. Our alumni pursue careers in diverse fields such as addiction and family therapy, mental health services, child protection, social policy evaluation, healthcare systems, correctional services, neighborhood initiatives, immigrant assistance, educational settings, social justice movements, and community advocacy.
Students must have completed High School (Secondary School) or partial post-secondary.

IELTS – Academic: Overall Band score of 6.5, with no band less than 6.0
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Overall score of 59, No area with less than 59
MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery): 85
