The English major curriculum explores global authors across various historical periods and literary styles while cultivating analytical abilities and writing proficiency to refine your learning approach and communication capabilities. As a creative writing student, you'll perfect your craft across multiple writing forms through intensive practice and revision.
To complete the Creative Writing specialization in the English program, students must take four designated courses: Expository and Persuasive Writing, Creative Writing, plus two upper-level Creative Writing classes focusing on specific genres or writing methods.
Students must have completed High School (Secondary School) or partial post-secondary.
