The Business Certificate is designed for students who meet the Business Program's admission criteria but aren't seeking a full Business degree. Typically, applicants need to have completed Grade 12 in a University Preparatory track with a minimum 70% average across English, Mathematics, any two Social Studies, Languages, or Sciences, plus one additional academic subject. The program may also admit candidates with relevant professional experience.
This certificate aims to give students exposure to various business disciplines. It also serves as a pathway for those considering the BBA program, as it covers many foundational courses needed for degree entry. The Business Certificate consists of ten three-credit courses: three mandatory and seven electives. While most classes run during the regular academic year, select courses may be available in summer sessions.
