The Faculty of Education at the University of Ottawa, with around 1,600 students and 150 faculty members (both full-time and part-time), offers a dynamic learning environment where professors, students, and community partners collaborate to deliver cutting-edge graduate programs.

This initiative enables educators to refine their instructional abilities, allowing them to supplement their core certifications with additional qualifications approved by the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT).
Educators may enroll in Additional Qualification (AQ) Courses to improve their expertise in specific teaching levels or subject areas, while Additional Basic Qualification (ABQ) courses focus on deepening understanding of curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation within particular educational divisions.
