The School of Political Studies provides advanced degree programs including a Graduate Diploma in Public Management and Governance, along with Master of Arts (MA) and PhD degrees in Political Science. The MA program accommodates both full-time and part-time students, while the PhD is exclusively full-time. All programs are available in French and English.
For the MA, students can choose among three pathways: thesis-based, research paper-based, or a research paper with cooperative education option.
Additionally, the graduate program features a Microprogram in Survey Research and Public Opinion designed for working professionals. Current MA or PhD candidates in Political Science or Public Administration may elect to complete this microprogram, with earned credits applying toward their degree requirements (Public Administration students require approval from their program supervisor). Successful microprogram completion will be noted on official transcripts.
