The Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, situated within the Faculty of Medicine, provides graduate studies culminating in Master of Science (MSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Neuroscience.
These programs foster both theoretical understanding and analytical skills by engaging students in reviewing scientific literature, performing lab experiments, interpreting research findings, and presenting their work through seminars or poster sessions. Graduates gain preparation for diverse careers in education and research, both in academic and non-academic settings.
Program alumni develop independent research capabilities along with expertise in producing academic publications and funding proposals. Cutting-edge facilities, extensive course offerings, and exceptional research prospects guarantee a successful path in neuroscience.
The Department collaborates with master's and doctoral programs in Human and Molecular Genetics as well as Pathology and Experimental Medicine.
At the doctoral level, students can pursue the Combined MD/PhD Program, earning dual qualifications in Neuroscience (PhD) and Medicine (MD).
Have a master's degree in science with a minimum average of B+ (75%).
