Founded in 2000, the Ottawa-Carleton Institute of Environmental Engineering (OCIENE) brings together the academic and research excellence from the University of Ottawa's Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering departments, along with Carleton University's Civil and Environmental Engineering department.
The Institute provides graduate studies culminating in Master of Applied Science (MASc) degrees in Environmental Engineering, a Master of Engineering (MEng), and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Environmental Engineering.
