The department hosts the renowned annual Canadian Literature Symposium and boasts an accomplished, widely published faculty. The Ontario Council on Graduate Studies (OCGS) has repeatedly granted the department its top accreditation.
Students may enroll in collaborative programs in Women's Studies and Medieval and Renaissance Studies at the master's level, or Canadian Studies at the doctoral level.
All graduate programs follow standard university regulations, with specific requirements: English graduate courses must be completed with a minimum B grade.
