This French-language program provides theoretical knowledge about social contexts and policies. Students gain practical experience through classroom instruction and two fieldwork placements, developing intervention skills to address poverty and various forms of social inequality related to gender, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, identity, and physical or mental abilities. With restricted enrollment, this specialized program maintains high standards.
Accredited by the Canadian Association for Social Work Education, the School's Social Work program qualifies graduates for professional associations in Ontario, Quebec, across Canada, and internationally.

Qualification Requirements
You must have an Ontario high school diploma with at least six 4U-4M or DU-level courses to be eligible for admission to the first year of university. Please note:

Applicants enrolled in the International Baccalaureatenorth_eastexternal link Diploma program are eligible for admission if they have completed (or are in the process of completing) the full IB program and meet the following conditions:
Have passed six subjects (including the prerequisites for your program of choice) with at least three at the Standard Level and three at the Higher Level.
Have a minimum average of 29 points. The minimum average might be higher depending on the program you have chosen.
IELTS - overall score 6.5 with minimum writing section score 6.5
TOEFL - IBT - Overall Score 86 with writing section score 22.
