A perfect combination of an aging population, reduced hospital durations, and limited specialist availability has created high demand for personal support workers (PSWs). Our customized 28-week program equips you with the skills and confidence to enter this field, blending theoretical knowledge with practical training to enhance independence and living standards for individuals in both residential and community environments.
Initially, you'll gain practical experience assisting with daily activities through our spacious 1,200-square-foot simulated apartment and nursing skills laboratory. The program culminates with a 270-hour clinical placement and mentorship, allowing you to refine your abilities while working alongside seasoned PSWs and instructors. Graduates emerge as compassionate, competent professionals fully prepared for immediate employment.
