Biomedical Science is a multidisciplinary field that explores the essential principles of human and animal anatomy and physiology. The initial phase of study covers foundational topics in anatomy, psychology, and core scientific disciplines including biology, biochemistry, chemistry, and mathematics. Following this foundation, students can specialize by pairing advanced biology and biochemistry courses with electives to pursue a minor in arts or social sciences, or select a life sciences concentration such as neuroscience, cellular/molecular medicine, bioanalytical science, biostatistics, or medicinal chemistry.
The program also features a Research Focus track, available from the third year, designed for students interested in research careers. This hands-on experience equips graduates for further research training or entry into professional healthcare programs.
