Students can choose between thesis and project pathways. The thesis track equips graduate students for research-focused careers or advanced academic pursuits, involving the development and execution of an original research initiative along with thesis composition. The project alternative offers interdisciplinary training ideal for those with specific career goals, while also serving as a platform for non-traditional learners (such as working professionals, educators, and career-changers) to enhance their expertise.
Typically, the MSc program spans two academic years. Although this is the standard duration, the supervisory committee may modify this timeline to accommodate individual research requirements and academic circumstances.
Graduate Seminar classes are available every September and January term. Participants must register for a seminar course totaling 3 credit hours within their degree requirements.
