Economics examines how communities ensure the welfare of their populations and the governmental strategies that support this welfare. This program explores the dynamic between individuals, institutions, and corporations in shaping robust (or vulnerable) social structures.
Expect a curriculum spanning multiple social science disciplines. Utilize theoretical frameworks and analytical approaches to understand connections between earnings, environmental assets, price fluctuations, legislation, and other factors.
Combined majors cater to learners pursuing dual academic concentrations. Typically, a Joint Major incorporates curated coursework to establish foundational expertise in both disciplines. Most students can fulfill graduation criteria for a joint major within a standard four-year timeframe. To earn a Bachelor of Arts with a joint major in Economics and Global and International Studies, students must complete at least 120 credit hours.
