Established in 1854, UNB's Civil Engineering department boasts a rich legacy. Our graduate program has equipped countless students with the engineering expertise needed to design, develop, and oversee critical infrastructure for contemporary communities.
Whether working on transportation networks, structural projects, water purification systems, or sustainable construction, UNB graduates gain comprehensive training for rewarding careers with engineering firms, non-profits, government bodies, and international research institutions.
Typically hosting 40-60 graduate researchers across all civil engineering specialties, our program accommodates part-time study for MEng candidates.
Program length (full-time): 1-2 years (MEng); 2 years (MScE); 3-4 years (PhD).
Start dates: Fall/Winter (MEng); Fall/Winter/Summer (MScE/PhD).
