Students joining UNB's political science graduate program develop essential analytical abilities to engage meaningfully in political discourse at both local and international levels. The curriculum focuses on constructing compelling arguments while examining modern political discussions, equity issues, conflict resolution, philosophical inquiries, and other relevant topics.
Our collaborative master's program across Fredericton and Saint John campuses connects students with top Canadian academics who guide them in analyzing political structures, governance processes, policy formation, and societal transformation. We maintain intentionally limited class sizes to ensure personalized mentorship from faculty as students explore their specialized areas of interest.
Program alumni frequently continue their education in PhD programs, legal studies, or other advanced degrees, while others launch successful careers in public service, global institutions, NGOs, and advocacy groups.
