Expand your horizons with UNB's graduate programs in Forestry and Environmental Management. For more than a century, we've been educating students in forestry sciences, preparing them to steward and safeguard Earth's natural resources for future generations.
Recognized as a top program in North America, our department fosters a cooperative learning atmosphere where students analyze environmental challenges through both biological and socioeconomic lenses. Alumni emerge ready to excel in diverse forestry careers, becoming influential environmental advocates, resource management specialists, conservation professionals, project leaders, and research experts.
Our program typically hosts approximately 80 graduate students engaged in various research initiatives. Recent alumni have pursued careers in wildlife conservation, Indigenous community engagement, community-university research coordination, geographic information systems, academic research, and beyond.
