Adult Education focuses on continuous learning throughout life. It empowers individuals to pursue ongoing education, skill enhancement, and personal growth. UNB's Adult Education program integrates credit courses with scholarly research, practical projects, and professional development workshops. You'll gain expertise in designing, managing, and implementing training programs for diverse adult learners across various settings, while studying adult learning theories, learner characteristics, and the evolution of adult education.
Our hybrid distance learning approach allows us to connect with students nationwide and collaborate with international peers. Furthermore, since our students possess at least one year of adult education experience, you'll engage with professionals from various backgrounds and expertise levels. This diversity enhances the educational experience.

The Faculty of Education provides a Certificate in Adult Education (CAEd), a Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Adult Education, and a consecutive BEd in Adult Education.
High school students applying to undergraduate programs at the University of New Brunswick must meet the following three sets of requirements in order to be considered for admission.

TOEFL IBT with a minimum overall score of 85
IELTS or IELTS Indicator with a minimum overall score of 6.5
CAEL CE or CAEL Online with a minimum overall score of 60
Pearson Vue Test with a minimum score of 59
Cambridge English Assessment C1 advanced or C2 proficiency with a minimum score of 176
Duolingo with a minimum overall score of 115
