The Law in Society program examines the deep connections between legal systems and modern communities. This interdisciplinary program enables students to analyze these relationships through philosophical, historical, political, economic, and sociological lenses. Ideal for those pursuing advanced studies in humanities, social sciences, or professional fields like law, public policy, law enforcement, social services, and commerce, the program offers minor, double major, and joint honors options within a four-year BA degree.
UNB's cross-departmental Law in Society framework gives students exceptional flexibility to investigate various aspects of law's intersection with policy, justice, and social structures while customizing their studies to personal interests.
