The Law in Society program examines the deep connections between legal systems and modern communities. This interdisciplinary program enables students to investigate these ties through philosophical, historical, political, economic, and sociological lenses. It serves as excellent groundwork for advanced studies in humanities and social sciences, as well as professional fields like law, public policy, law enforcement, social services, and commerce. Students can pursue this program as a minor, double major, or joint honors component within a four-year BA degree.
UNB's cross-departmental Law in Society program offers distinctive advantages, allowing students to examine various aspects of law's intersection with policy, justice, and social structures while customizing their studies to personal interests.
