The Master of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences program offers advanced research training for professionals in rehabilitation fields. Students must complete academic coursework along with an original thesis project involving scientific research in rehabilitation. Note that this degree does not qualify graduates for entry-level practice in occupational therapy, physical therapy, or respiratory therapy. The curriculum includes 12 credit hours of coursework, typically fulfilled through four 3-credit courses, plus the research thesis. The program is designed to be completed within two years.

Qualification Requirements

To qualify for admission to the Master of Science Rehabilitation Sciences program you must have:
a four-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in:
physical therapy
occupational therapy
respiratory therapy
or related discipline, such as:
kinesiology
biomedical engineering
exercise science
with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (B) in the last 60 credit hours of study
A confirmed advisor within the College of Rehabilitation Sciences

IELTS - 6.5 overall, TOEFL IBT - Overall score of 86, 20 in Reading, 20 in Writing, 20 in Listening, 20 in Speaking.
