Individuals with Ukrainian roots have played a vital role in shaping Canada's social, economic, and cultural landscape. Examining this community, both historically and currently, offers insights into Ukrainian traditions and their influence within Canadian culture. Our multidisciplinary approach allows students to investigate personal areas of interest related to Ukrainian Canadians. Potential study areas include contemporary Ukrainian Canadian culture, spiritual traditions, artistic expressions, literary works, historical developments, and socio-political influences.

Qualification Requirements
The following are minimum requirements for entry into the Bachelor of Arts in Ukrainian Canadian Heritage Studies program. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
Direct entry applicants are those who have not attended a post-secondary institution or have completed fewer than 24 credit hours at a recognized university or college.
Advanced entry applicants are those who have completed one year (24 credit hours) or more of studies in another faculty at the University of Manitoba or another recognized post-secondary institution.
