With nearly 500 million speakers across Spain, Latin America, and North America, it's one of the world's most widely spoken languages. The Spanish program helps students master the language while exploring the rich literary and cultural traditions of Spanish-speaking regions. BA General requirements: Complete 90 credit hours while maintaining at least a 2.0 GPA in all major courses. This program is ideal for students planning to enter the workforce or pursue professional studies after earning their Arts degree.

Qualification Requirements
The following are minimum requirements for entry into the Bachelor of Arts in Spanish program. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
Direct entry applicants are those who have not attended a post-secondary institution or have completed fewer than 24 credit hours at a recognized university or college.
Advanced entry applicants are those who have completed one year (24 credit hours) or more of studies in another faculty at the University of Manitoba or another recognized post-secondary institution.
