The Medieval and Early Modern Studies program examines Europe's pivotal historical era spanning from the fall of Rome to the Renaissance. Learners will adopt a comprehensive perspective on this pre-modern era, investigating its artistic expressions, written works, linguistic developments, historical events, musical traditions, and cultural practices. BA General: Requires completion of 90 credit hours while maintaining at least a 2.0 GPA across all major-specific coursework. This curriculum is ideal for those aiming to pursue careers or graduate studies in the Arts after completing their undergraduate degree. BA Advanced: Involves 120 credit hours of study with a minimum 2.0 GPA in all faculty-mandated courses. Participants choose either a major-minor combination or opt for a double major instead of selecting a minor.

Qualification Requirements
The following are minimum requirements for entry into the Bachelor of Arts in Medieval and Early Modern Studies program. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
Direct entry applicants are those who have not attended a post-secondary institution or have completed fewer than 24 credit hours at a recognized university or college.
Advanced entry applicants are those who have completed one year (24 credit hours) or more of studies in another faculty at the University of Manitoba or another recognized post-secondary institution.
