Biological sciences investigate living organisms across all scales—from microscopic life forms to humans and complete ecological systems. This field examines life in all its forms across terrestrial, aquatic, and aerial environments. Biologists venture into diverse habitats to understand organism-environment interactions, biological functions, and evolutionary processes.

Our Department of Biological Sciences emphasizes experiential education, transitioning students from traditional classroom learning to active participation in research initiatives. As a discipline rooted in investigation, biology opens doors to numerous specializations including environmental science, medical fields, microbial studies, and agriscience. Modern biology education demands comprehensive knowledge in cellular/molecular processes, organismal biology, genetic principles, evolutionary theory, and ecological relationships. The curriculum also mandates supporting coursework in chemistry, physics, and mathematics to establish robust scientific fundamentals.
