Finance explores how individuals and organizations make financial choices regarding investments, portfolio strategies, and corporate finances while navigating risks and innovations in a constantly evolving business landscape. As a finance student, you'll examine topics including corporate and personal financial management, investment strategies, international finance, fintech advancements, financial markets, and derivative instruments. The program enhances your technical abilities through Excel, statistical analysis, trading platforms, and portfolio management tools, while integrating knowledge from economics, accounting, and ethical business practices to prepare for careers in banking, investment firms, global finance, trading operations, and risk assessment. A distinctive feature includes practical trading experience via our Student Managed Investment Fund.
The Dhillon School of Business offers flexible pathways: a 10-course Management Certificate with finance specialization, a 20-course (roughly two-year) Finance Diploma, or a comprehensive 40-course (approximately four-year) Business Degree with finance major. These options cater to high school graduates, college transfers, or those pursuing a second degree. Both the certificate and diploma programs provide seamless transition opportunities into the full degree program.

Qualification Requirements
Applicants who complete the equivalent of Grade 12 in high school (secondary school) will be considered for admission. Applicants who have completed secondary qualifications in other countries will be considered for admission under the High School Admission Route. Applicants to undergraduate programs who have completed post-secondary study will be considered for admission under the Post-Secondary Admission Route.
English language Requirements:
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL (iBT)) with a minimum total score of 80 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT), with minimum scores of 16 in each of Listening, Reading, and Speaking, and a minimum score of 18 in Writing.
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic score with a minimum overall score of 54.
Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) Assessment with a minimum overall score of 60, with a minimum 50 in each of Listening, Reading, and Speaking, and 60 in Writing.
Academic International English Languages Testing System (IELTS) test with a minimum overall score of 6.0, and a minimum 6.0 in each band.
