A social sciences general major offers more flexibility than a specialized single-discipline program, letting you tailor coursework to match your passions and strengths. While you may sacrifice some specialization in a particular field, you'll develop broader understanding across several important disciplines. This interdisciplinary method helps you grasp overarching concepts and see subjects within their larger frameworks. Alternatively, your selected courses can sharpen your concentration on a specific topic while offering insights from multiple academic perspectives.
