The Master of Relational and Family Therapy offers a comprehensive two-year clinical training that blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice in systemic psychotherapy. This program focuses on treating clients within their relational networks and broader social contexts.

Recognized by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and accredited by the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (CAMFT), the MRFT provides the necessary qualifications to begin practicing psychotherapy immediately after completion.

As part of the University of Guelph's Relational and Psychotherapy Training Program (RPTP), this degree joins the Master of Psychotherapy and Master of Arts in Mental Health offerings. The full-time program runs for two consecutive years, with new cohorts starting each May.
