The field of environmental conservation has evolved dramatically in the last two decades. With persistent environmental shifts and climate challenges, coupled with changing approaches to conservation management, protecting biodiversity has become increasingly intricate and time-sensitive.

Through the Master of Conservation Leadership (MCL) program, you'll develop essential skills in strategic thinking, conflict management, collaborative teamwork, Indigenous relations, data-driven decision-making, and partnership cultivation - equipping you for high-level leadership positions in conservation.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants to the Master of Conservation Leadership will have a minimum average of at least 77% (B+) in the last completed degree and at least three years working experience in the field of conservation post honours bachelor's degree. Preference will be given to applicants with some experience in leadership or management roles. Applicants must submit a statement of interest. A letter of recommendation from a current employer or a conservation professional emphasizing the applicant's leadership potential is also required. Students are admitted in the Summer. Alternate admission may be offered to applicants who do not meet the admission requirements but have completed more than 5 years of relevant work experience International English Language Testing System (Academic) (IELTS) 6.5 , Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and (TOEFL Special Home Edition (iBT)) 89 A minimum score of 21 must be achieved in each of the four categories (listening, speaking, reading, writing) paper based- minimum score of 600
