The Identities and Social Inclusion specialization explores sociological perspectives on intergroup dynamics, particularly focusing on conflicts surrounding authority and control. Those who choose this concentration will develop a nuanced comprehension of how various identity markers - including ethnicity, language, geography, socioeconomic status, gender, race, and other societal distinctions - intersect and interact within group movements.
This academic path also enables learners to examine Indigenous matters along with multicultural policies, equality initiatives, and questions of local or regional self-governance.
