Applied Social Psychology examines social processes and significant societal issues affecting both the general public and specific communities. Our faculty and graduate students utilize varied research approaches to address challenges and create solutions in domains like healthcare, relationships, gender-based violence, migration, cultural studies, and civic participation.
The curriculum offers a thorough foundation while allowing customization based on individual career aspirations. Students can tailor their studies to focus on either: (1) practical research applications (such as collaborating with nonprofits or consulting agencies) and/or (2) academic research (including university-based studies). Recognizing each student's distinct objectives, our program enables personalized combinations of coursework, hands-on experience, and research publication pathways to support their professional development and research ambitions.
