Modern agriculture relies heavily on integrated pest management. This 15-credit associate certificate program (consisting of five 3-credit courses) equips farmers and agricultural professionals with skills to recognize and evaluate field pests. Emphasizing eco-friendly approaches, the curriculum addresses pest life cycles and ecological relationships. Graduates of this Integrated Pest Management certificate qualify for beginner pest scout roles in government organizations, pest management firms, or agricultural service providers.

The Agriculture Technology department will also consider applicants if they can demonstrate that they have a reasonable chance for success. Applicants will be required to submit a portfolio and/or be interviewed.
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) IBT score of 88 with no section below 20, or paper-based score of 570 with a TWE (essay) score of 4.5 or higher.
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Academic format score of at least 6.5., with no band score less than 6.0.
MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery) score of at least 85.
CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language) score of at least 70.
