The Mathematics Education graduate program (MEd) is one of several graduate options available through the Department of Curriculum and Pedagogy. This program allows students to explore diverse research areas and professional applications related to mathematics instruction. With a history of significant research initiatives like the Early Numeracy Project and the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMMS), the program collaborates with scholars across local, national, and global academic communities.
One to two years’ of teacher education; or a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Education. In special circumstances teacher education may be waived for those applicants who have a university degree with sufficient standing and experience related to their proposed field of study.
PREREQUISITES / COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Normally 18 credits of senior course work or a professional concentration in the area of interest.
