The Master's programs cultivate an understanding of contemporary perspectives and methodologies in MLED education. The MA program focuses on research and requires a thesis component. Graduate students in MLED explore various aspects of language education, including modern approaches to second language instruction, acquisition processes, literacy development, cultural identity formation, multilingual teaching strategies, digital learning tools, linguistic policy, evaluation techniques, cross-cultural education, discourse studies, critical language analysis, and methodological research approaches.
An approved Bachelor’s degree and, for K-12 teachers, one year of teacher education;* OR a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Education
