Research opportunities span these key sub-disciplines: Biogeography, Climate Studies, Economic Geography, Environmental Sustainability, Gender Geography, GIS Technology, Landform Science, Historical Geography, Water Systems, Indigenous Land Studies, Political Geography, Socio-Cultural Geography, and Urban Studies.
The PhD curriculum offers adaptable, research-focused study guided by student interests. Candidates from diverse academic backgrounds work alongside leading experts in physical geography, human geography, and geospatial technologies. Graduates develop specialized knowledge for professional paths in higher education, public service, industry, or NGO sectors through their focused research training.
