Empower individuals to embrace healthier, more active lifestyles. The Health and Exercise Sciences program offers a thorough exploration of human movement and its health implications. You'll investigate the multidisciplinary aspects of wellness, covering psychological, physiological, biomechanical, and sociocultural dimensions of physical activity. This knowledge will provide you with essential hands-on abilities to assist people throughout all life stages.

Throughout your studies, you can choose among three specialized tracks: Kinesiology and Allied Health, Health Behavior Modification, or Clinical Exercise Physiology. Each concentration delivers targeted professional preparation to position you as an industry leader. Concentration applications open during your sophomore year.

Upon graduation, potential career paths include becoming a kinesiologist or developing community initiatives that promote exercise's role in enhancing wellbeing, fitness, and athletic performance. Your degree also serves as a foundation for advanced studies in health-related fields like physical therapy, occupational therapy, sports medicine, or medical education.
