Learn more about theatre studies, acting, and technical theatre as you take courses in drama forms, voice and movement, lighting design, history of theatre, sound design, and much more. As part of your studies you'll participate in the department's dramatic productions.The Theatre Studies program includes introductory courses in the areas of Theatre Studies, Acting, Theatre Production, and Design, as well as practical participation in the department’s production. Subsequent years require a strong focus on Theatre Studies, as well as the history, dramaturgy, and methods of theatre practice.Your futureGraduates go on to a multitude of career paths, including but not limited to director, playwright, dramaturge, producer, educator, arts administration, front of house manager, and curator.
