Integrated Engineering provides the most comprehensive education across engineering fields by enabling you to customize your degree according to your interests, offering exactly the specialization level you prefer. The Integrated Engineering (IGEN) program delivers a wide-ranging, generalized engineering education. Instead of specializing in just one engineering discipline, you'll acquire foundational knowledge in key areas including materials science, solid mechanics, fluid dynamics, and systems incorporating chemical, electro-mechanical, and biological elements. Beyond these fundamentals, you can choose 18 credits of technical electives to deepen your exploration of specific interests.
Engineering design is a central focus, with design project courses included every term. While many projects apply concepts learned in IGEN coursework, others challenge you to independently acquire new knowledge. This program holds accreditation from the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board.
