Graduate students have the option to choose among 18 thesis or coursework programs across five specialized disciplines: Conservation Biology, Forest Ecology and Management, Agriculture and Environment, Land and Water Reclamation/Restoration, and Environmental Soil Science. This academic concentration examines biological, societal, and economic dimensions of forest resource utilization. Investigative areas encompass: urban planning, forest water systems, watershed conservation, wetland preservation, biodiversity protection strategies, natural resource policy and administration, and ecological risk evaluation.

Qualification Requirements

A 4-year undergraduate degree in a related area, or its academic equivalent, from a recognized institution. Grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 out of 4.0 in the last two years (approximately 60 credits) of post-secondary study. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT, in-person or special at-home edition) - Total score of 90 with a score of at least 21 on each of the individual skill areas (internet-based) or equivalent. Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - 6.5, with at least 6.0 on each test band
