Epidemiology examines how health and disease patterns emerge within populations. The Master of Science (MSc) in Epidemiology is a research-focused program that equips students with essential competencies to design, implement, assess, and interpret both observational (descriptive and analytical) and experimental research. These studies help identify risk factors, track disease progression for both infectious and chronic conditions, and evaluate health promotion, disease prevention, and healthcare delivery approaches.
