Human well-being is directly linked to the health of their surroundings. The field of environmental health examines potential public health threats from biological, chemical, and physical dangers in both natural and human-made environments.
Our Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Health equips thesis students with essential skills to design, execute, analyze, and interpret both observational studies and experimental research. These programs primarily explore the connection between hazard exposure and resulting health effects. The curriculum emphasizes exposure and risk assessment theories, concepts, and methodologies. Students gain foundational knowledge in toxicology, infectious disease principles, exposure evaluation, risk analysis, risk control strategies, and epidemiological methods.
