A critical connection exists between public health and primary care clinical practice1,2. Research confirms that population health outcomes are closely tied to accessible primary care services3. As a key factor influencing health outcomes, primary care delivery represents a worldwide public health priority. Family doctors and primary care practitioners serve as public health frontliners - detecting emerging health concerns, encouraging wellness, conducting screenings, advocating for patients, and implementing public health measures4. The patient-centered services delivered by these clinicians can be further strengthened through population-level insights and competencies gained from MPH degree training.
