The Department of Renewable Resources provides programs for both course-based Master's degrees in Agriculture and Forestry, as well as thesis-based Master of Science and PhD programs. Through collaboration between the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences and the Faculty of Business, students can pursue dual degree options combining either the MBA with a Master of Agriculture or MBA with a Master of Forestry, completing both in two years of full-time study.
The department's graduate programs cover diverse scientific and management approaches to natural and cultivated environments. Research focuses on five key areas: Conservation Biology, Forest Ecology and Management, Agricultural Environmental Studies, Land and Water Reclamation/Restoration, and Environmental Soil Science.
