This program aims to equip individuals pursuing a career in teaching English as a second language (ESL) with both the theoretical knowledge and hands-on training needed for instructing English learners in Canada and abroad. Our participants range from seasoned educators to those new to adult ESL instruction. Enrollment options include full-time or part-time study. Full-time students starting in September can typically finish the program in about 8 months, while a maximum completion window of four years is permitted. We highly encourage participants to volunteer with ESL programs during their studies. To maintain active status, students must register at least once during each September-to-August academic cycle.
