The Statistics Honors program offers a wide array of courses covering both practical topics like sampling methods and statistical analysis, as well as theoretical areas including probability concepts and stochastic systems. Successful completion qualifies graduates to pursue Associate Statistician certification. This Bachelor of Science with Honors provides focused, advanced education in a chosen field for students interested in scientific investigation. Every curriculum includes a mandatory research thesis component, with participants held to stricter academic requirements compared to standard BSc Major programs. While students may complement their studies with a minor from Arts, Native Studies, Business, or Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences faculties, this choice limits elective course options. The Honors track does not permit pursuing a double major.
